Lucille C. Arp

Lucille C. Murphy Arp was born on December 22, 1940, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, March 10, 2009, in Meeker, Oklahoma, at the age of 68. Lucille, the daughter of Robert and Nora Ann Hasbel Murphy, was a resident of Meeker. She married Melvin Leroy Arp on September 15, 1992 in Choctaw. He preceded her in death on May 31, 2000. Lucille was a member of the Eastern Star and of the Pentecostal faith. Her parents; one son, Ronald L. Tuter, Jr.; and three brothers also preceded Lucille in death. Survivors include son, James H. Tuter of Helena; daughters and sons-in-law, Jaylene and Gaylon Standlee of Meeker, Lena and Cecil Jones of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Tami L. Evans of Meeker, Pacer A. Hill of Tecumseh, Alicia A. Standlee of Meeker, Lacey N. Standlee of Shawnee, Ashley M. Standlee of Meeker, Cody J. Standlee of Meeker; great- grandchildren, Sharyn R. Evans of Meeker, Andrew G. S. Moore Standlee of Meeker, Levi H. Evans of Meeker, Dominick A. Hill of Tecumseh, Clifford M. Standlee of Meeker, Jay E. G. Standlee of Meeker; sister, Pauline Murphy of Shawnee; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 10:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Allen Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Gable Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
