L.T. Case

L.T. Case was born on February 27, 1929, in Paden, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 86. L.T., the son of Lemuel Lewis and Anna Mae (Davis) Case, was a resident of Paden. He attended Bethel and Paden schools. He married Delores Marie Brown on March 25, 1950, in Okemah, Oklahoma. L.T. worked as an oilfield pumper for Wilcox and Tenneco Oil Companies. He later worked for Allied Materials in Stroud. L.T. loved baseball and riding horses. He served on the Stroud School Board for 14 years and as an elder for the Burnett Mission Church for many years. Preceding L.T. in death were his parents, Lem and Anna Mae Case; sisters, Virginia Broyles, Mary Barlow and Toyie Adams; brother, Joe Case; and son-in-law, Robert Rainwater. Survivors include: his wife of almost 66 years, Delores 'D.I.' Case of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Vicki Case of Paden; daughters and son-in-law, Christy Rainwater of Prague and Shelia and Jon Henson of Norman; brothers and sisters-in-law, Max and Edna Case of Paden and Tex and Caroline Case of Bristow; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joan Broyles of Paden, Peggy and Harlan Wilson of Prague and Sue and Tommie Hinds of Paden; grandchildren, Crystal Marie and Craig Makes Cry, Rachel Lorene Marie and Nathan Walker, Robbie and Lana Rainwater, Megan Charie Case, Stacy Rene Henson, Missy Elaine Case, Ashlee Kay Henson, Michael Rod Brett and Brooke Case; great-grandchildren,Madison Ann Walker, Hailey Jo Rainwater, Jace Robert Rainwater, Brody Michael Case, Blakely Dawn Case and Case Allen Makes Cry; other family and friends. The Case family will receive friends on Thursday, February 4, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 2:00 PM, at the Burnett Mission Church in Paden, Oklahoma with Bro. Paul Heard and Bro Bryan Logan officiating. Interment will follow at the Paden Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
