Loyce Marie Miller, was born on March 1, 1948, in Fort Worth, TX, and departed this live on January 3, 2011, near Prague, OK. Loyce the daughter of Rev. J. H. Shockey and Ola Mae (Thomas) Shockey was a resident of Chandler, OK. She married William J. “Bill” Miller May 6, 1967, at Osage Heights Baptist Church near Ponca City, OK. Loyce was homemaker and long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Chandler. She, along with her husband, Bill, was an ardent supporter of the Chandler wrestling programs and the Boy Scouts of America. She took great pride in being a “Double Eagle” mother, with both of her sons achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. Her father preceded Loyce in death. Survivors include, husband Bill of the home. Two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Marsha Miller, of Yakima, WA, John and Rebekah Miller of Prague, OK, mother, Ola Mae of Keller, TX, two brothers, Ray Shockey of Fort Worth, TX, and Roy Shockey of Keller, TX, one sister Mary Ann Shockey of Fort Worth, TX, five grandchildren other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 6, 2011, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery north of Chandler with Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, OK
