Louise Gonia Graham, a long-time Stroud resident, was born on October 31, 1919, in Lyons, Kansas, and departed this life in Shawnee, Oklahoma, on Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at the age of 87 years. Louise was the daughter of Henry John and Florence Nonnamaker Griebel. She graduated from Stroud High School in 1938. Louise married Leon Graham in Stroud. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the First State Bank in Stroud and was Treasurer of the First Christian Church for 30 years. During WWII she worked in the factory as Rosie the Riveter. Louise was a member of the First Christian Church, Business & Professional Women, Christian Women?s Fellowship, and Treasurer of Stroud Rural Fire Association. Her parents, husband, one granddaughter, and two grandsons preceded Louise in death. Survivors include, Three sons & daughter in laws, George & Mary Brant of Ames, IA, Wayne & Nancy Brant of Stroud, OK, Alan & Susan McCall of Stroud, OK, Four daughters and son in laws, Zagonyi & David Tungate of Falmouth, MA, Janiece &Tom Cortemeglia of Nashville, TN, Carolyn Ferguson of Stroud, OK, Robin & Tommy Smith of Stroud, OK, One brother, Perry Griebel of Stroud, OK, Two sisters, Isabel LeMaster of Springfield, TN, Pauline Hamilton of Wilburton, OK, 18 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, Others relatives and friends.
