Louise Acord

Louise Acord, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on May 22, 1925, in Chandler, and departed this life on July 9, 2006, at her home, surrounded by her family, at the age of 81 years. Louise was the daughter of Pete and Bertha Fillman Edmonson. She graduated from Chandler High School in 1942. Louise married Leon Acord on July 15, 1944, in Chandler. She was co-owner of Acord Transportation in Chandler for many years. Louise was a member of the First Baptist Church in Davenport, Oklahoma. Her parents and one brother preceded Louise in death. Survivors include, Husband of 61 years, Leon Acord of the home, Four sons & daughters-in-law, Ray & Pat Acord of Chandler, John & Jeanie Acord of Chandler, Tom & Debbie Acord of Chandler, Joe & Cindy Acord of Chandler, Two daughters & sons-in-law, Sue & Bill Shelton of Chandler, Lou Ann & Jerry Sukovaty of Davenport, Two brothers, Vern Edmonson of Sapulpa, C.A. Edmonson of Sapulpa, Two Sisters, Vila Belle Alexander of Chandler, Eileen Peterson of Oklahoma City, Nineteen grandchildren, Eleven great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends.
