Lorraine Rutherford

Lorraine Rutherford, McLoud, OK, age 78, was born on December 29, 1930, in Altus, OK. She was the daughter of John Barham & Ineta Zona (Essary) Mayfield. She departed this life on Thursday, July 16, 2009, in Oklahoma City, OK. Lorraine retired from Tinker AFB. She was married to Alden A. Rutherford, who preceded her in death. Lorraine enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing and taking care of her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of McLoud. Lorraine was also preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her son, Michael Rutherford, McLoud, OK; daughter, Brenda Simera, Aberdeen, WA; 2 sisters, Myra Starnes, Midwest City, OK, Louise Schoenleber, Bethany, OK; 4 grandchildren, Cealy Mills, Justin Ferree, Bailey Rutherford, Angela Chandler; 2 great-grandchildren, Sierra Ferree, Savannah Chandler and many other relatives and friends Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, July 20, 2009, at the First Baptist Church, McLoud, OK, with Rev. Ernest Graham and Rev. Bill Derrick officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery, Meeker, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
