Lonnie William Orr

Lonnie William Orr was born on May 5, 1923, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Friday, August 1, 2008, in Paden, Oklahoma, at the age of 85. Lonnie, the son of John Henry and Sarah Millie Richards Orr, was a resident of Paden. He proudly served his country in the United States Army in World War II. He married Pauline Brown on January 23, 1943 in Okemah. Lonnie retired from Tinker Air Force Base where he worked as an electrician. His parents, two brothers, three sisters, and one son, Jerry Orr preceded Lonnie in death. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Pauline Bernice Orr of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Montie and Jennifer Orr of Harrah, Mark and Ruth Orr of Paden; daughter and son-in-law, Geneva and Johnny Paul Lee of Paden; sister and brother in law, Helen and Phillip White of Stroud; brother in law, Cecil Brown of Stroud; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 4, 2008 at 10:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. David Pollard officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
