Lois Laverne Hanks

Lois Laverne Hanks was born in Milfay, Oklahoma on July 20, 1936 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Monday, November 11, 2013 at the age of 77 years.. Laverne was the daughter of Tom and Lois (Spangler) Haskins. She was a resident of Stroud area most of her life. Laverne was affilated with Church of God in Depew and worked as a inspector for Misselaine Garment Factory in Bristow. She married Paul Dean Hanks on January 27, 1956. He preceded her in death on April 20, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include, One son and daughter-in-law , Paul Ray and Diane Hanks of Depew, Ok, Three daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and Kenneth Dixon of Davenport, Ok, Carollyn Cox of Stroud, Ok, Debbie & Mark Riggle of Stroud, Ok, Eight grandchildren,Kevin Lawson, Heather Lewis, Justin Hanks & Shayla Hanks, Holli Hanks, Neal Dixon, Shelly, Shawnna, Paul, Hayden Wertman and Kinley Hanks, Several great grandchildren, Other Family Members and Friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday 14, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Stroud with Rev. Manuel Rivas officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Services of Stroud, Ok.
