Linzy Wayne "Pete" Friend

Linzy Wayne 'Pete' Friend was born on April 22, 1944, in Prague, and departed this life on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, in Paden, Oklahoma, at the age of 73. Pete, the son of Raymond T. and Velma (Kidd) Friend - Presley, was a lifelong resident of Paden. He was a Prague High School graduate. He married Wanda Seaton on August 25, 1967 in Prague. Pete and Wanda were the founders of Touch Ministry in 1997. His parents, brother and sister-in-law, Vallis and Betty Friend and sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Earl Drury preceded him in death. Pete is survived by his wife, Wanda Friend; daughters and sons-in-law, Kristi and Randy Strickland of Prague, Katrina Friend-Massey of Wewoka and Kelly and Joshua Massey of Meeker; brother and sister-in-law, Jesse and Lorene Friend; grandchildren, Brett and Kaleigh Strickland of Prague, Bradlee and Laureen Strickland of Wewoka, Baruck and Samantha Strickland of Prague, Tori and David Tanner of Meeker, Trentton and Taryn Massey of Wewoka, Kayden Massey of Meeker and Kayde Massey of Meeker; 7 great grandchildren; Mother-in-law; Augusta Seaton; and numerous other family and friends. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Reverend Shirley Littleton officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
