Linda Sue Moody

Linda Sue Moody, a longtime resident of Prague, passed away peacefully on 10/17/19 at the age of 63. Linda was the daughter of Albert William “A.W.” Hall and Mary (Michael) Whisman. A.W passed away when Linda was very young and Pete Whisman stepped in as her dad and raised her. Linda was the 2nd oldest of her four siblings. She was raised in Del City, OK and graduated from Del City High School. She had a long-time career at Climate Master where she served for over 25 years. In 1989, Linda met the love of her life, David Moody, they were happily married for nearly 30 years. Linda enjoyed camping and going to the lake. She had some very fond memories of going to the lake growing up and she especially enjoyed taking her kids and grandkids camping as they grew older. Linda also enjoyed watching all OU sports, but you could typically catch her at any and all of her grandkids sporting and school events. She spent a lot of her time with her grandkids, doing anything from playing board games, taking them to school and watching them ride bikes. She also really enjoyed playing pool with her husband. Linda was also an animal lover, she especially loved her cat “Lucky.” Linda was a loving and caring wife, mother, nana, daughter and sister. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her father A.W. Hall, mother Mary Whisman, in laws Patricia and Virgil Moody and a very special sister in law, Pam Moody. Linda is survived by her loving husband David, her dad Pete Whisman, children Shanna and husband Ty, Jason and wife Julie, Kim and husband Travis, grandchildren Tyler, Morgan, Stevie, Braden and Ashtyn, brother Terry, Larry and wife Hollie, sister Brenda, as well as numerous other special family members and friends. A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. The service will be held at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with burial to immediately follow at Garden Grove Cemetery in Prague. The family will gather with visitors on Monday, October 21, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague. Services are under the direction of Parks Funeral Service of Prague.
