Linda Carol Galloway, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born June 18,1943, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She departed this life on August 25, 2021, at her home in Chandler at the age of 78 years. Linda was the daughter of Charles and Rosie (Bell) Sullivan. She was raised in Warwick and graduated from Wellston High School in 1960. Linda married Jerry Gough and after his death in 1971 she then married Ted Galloway. Linda owned and operated the Chandler Hardware Store for many years and worked many jobs around town including Goodners Red Bud, Chandler Public Schools, Dollar Store and the Chandler Nursing Home. She loved family game night, fishing with her family and friends at her lake house on Eufaula, watching the birds, flowers, going to casinos, Facebooking and feeding all the neighborhood animals. Linda was plain spoken and had a great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rosie Sullivan; husbands, Jerry Gough and Ted Galloway; one son Phillip “Spanky” Gough; two sisters, Lois Helm and Virgie Brown; three brothers, Floyd Sullivan, Johnnie Sullivan, and Delbert Sullivan. Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Vernon and Karen Gough of Chandler, Paul Gough of Chandler; one daughter and son-in-law Carol and Kelly Crary of Sparks, Oklahoma; one daughter-in-law, Levina Gough of Chandler; one brother and sister-in-law, Loyal and Joy Sullivan; four sisters and brother-in-law, Wanda Hayes, Rita Smothers, Jeanne Simon and Darlene Beloncik and husband Jon; two step children, Robbie Galloway and Belinda Burton; seven grandchildren, Kristi Tackett and husband Ryan, Jerry Crary and wife Crystal; Eric Gough and wife Elizabeth, Michael Gough and wife Gabriella, Daniel Gough, Ryan Helm and Justin Helm; ten great-grandchildren, Trent, Ayden, Isaiah, Daylynn, Azure, Christian, Alex, Lucy, Ely and Ethan; two dogs and eight cats; other relatives and many friends. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler with Pastor Keith Cole officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
