Lila M. Helm

Lila M. Helm, long-time Chandler, OK, resident was born on March 24, 1938, in Hays KS, and departed this life on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, in Oklahoma City, OK, at the age of 73 years. Lila was the daughter of Ben and Jesse (Brooks) Morris. She graduated from Chandler High School in 1956. She married Bob Helm on June 1, 1956, in Chandler. Lila worked as a sales associate at the Wal-Mart in Chandler for many years. Her parents and husband preceded Lila in death. Survivors include, one son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Pam Helm of Chandler, four daughters and sons-in-law, Deana McWhorter of Chandler, Shelly Pair of Chandler, Darsi and Clint Patterson of Chandler, Tracy and Mark Fowble of Chandler, one brother David Morris of Sand Springs, OK, two sisters Sheryl Kirk of Stigler, OK, Julia Marshall of Ft. Worth, TX, nine grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 18, 2012, at Oak Park Cemetery, in Chandler. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
