Lexie F. Trammell

Lexie Florence Trammell, Harrah, OK, age 80, was born on December 5, 1930, in Dustin, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Thomas Lloyd & Iva Ruby (Chaney) Crawley. She left this life on Wednesday, October 19, 2011, in Oklahoma City, OK. Lexie graduated from Graham High School, near Weleetka, OK. She attended East Central University in Ada for two years where she was a cheerleader and a member of the Pi Kappa Sigma sorority. Dean was the football captain and crowned her football queen in 1950. She married Harold Dean Trammell on August 30, 1951, in Oklahoma City, OK. Lexie enjoyed fishing, reading and spending time with her family. Lexie was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Brent, Dick, Jake & Mike Crawley and an infant twin sister, Exie. She is survived by her husband, Dean Trammell, Harrah, OK; 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Bill & Ruth Trammell, Edmond, OK, Steven & Sherry Trammell, Harrah, OK; sister, Sally Scott, Dallas, TX; 4 grandchildren, Chris Trammell, Luke Trammell, Kelsey Trammell, Teale Trammell and many other relatives and friends. The family suggests memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Harrah United Methodist Church. Services will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 22, 2011, at the Harrah United Methodist Church, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
