Leslie Landis Spurgin

Leslie Lando Spurgin passed away on January 19, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 58. Leslie was born on October 30, 1962 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was the son of Vonnie Dee and Kitty Sue (Orr) Spurgin. He grew up in Meeker and was a graduate of Shawnee High School. Leslie was known for his hard work ethic. He worked on farms all throughout the Weleetka area. He was skilled at baling hay, working catltle, cutting trees and building fence and any other task set out before him. In his free time, Leslie was an avid fisherman. You would often find him in his favorite fishing spots. Leslie was preceded in death by his father; grandmother Irene Churchwell; grandfather, JK Orr and grandparents, Roy and Mary Spurgin. He is survived by his mother, Kitty Spurgin; one brother, Lee Roy Spurgin and one sister, Carol Ann Stachursky and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
