Leroy Jr. Miller

Leroy Miller, Jr. age 79, of Wellston, OK, was born on May 27, 1931, in Durant, OK. He was the son of Leroy, Sr. & Josie Lee (Washburn) Miller. He left this life on Thursday, September 30, 2010, in Wellston, OK. Leroy attended OBU in Shawnee, OK, until he was allowed the opportunity to serve in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Margaret McPeak on November 25, 1958, in Tucumcari, NM. Leroy worked as a computer operator at Tinker AFB for many years. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Wellston and the First Baptist Church, Wellston, OK. He enjoyed ranching, farming and working with his cattle. Leroy was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Miller, Wellston, OK; 3 sons, Ronald Miller, McLoud, OK, Tony Miller & life partner, Mark Brownfield, Wellston, OK, David Miller, Prague, OK; daughter & son-in-law, Janice & Britt Mosier, Moore, OK, daughter, Donna Seagrave; sister, Norma Lee Lawson, Harrah, OK; 4 grandchildren, Andrea Gould, Kalea Mosier, Bryce Mosier, Katherine Seagrave; 1 great-grandchild, Landon Gould and many other relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to the Wellston First Baptist Church, PO Box 106, Wellston, OK 74881. Services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, October 4, 2010, at the First Baptist Church, Wellston, OK, with Pastor Darrell Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow at McKinley Cemetery, Meridian, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
