Leota F. Bacon

Leota F. Bacon, a long-time Stroud resident, was born in Newey, Oklahoma on October 13, 1920, and departed this life in Stroud on Monday, October 22, 2007 at the age of 87 years. Leota was the daughter of James & Bessie Davidson Carmen. Leota married Jack W. Bacon in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on November 30, 1950. Jack preceded her in death June 1, 1995. Leota was a seamstress and a member of the First Baptist Church in Stroud. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, and 1 sister.
