Leone Marie Hipsley

Leone Marie Hipsley, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on May 20, 1917, in Guthrie, Oklahoma, and departed this life on November 1, 2013, in Chandler, at the age of 96 years. Leone was the daughter of F.L. and Ellen (Cook) Dickson. She married Warren D. Hipsley Sr. on October 18, 1941, in Oklahoma City. Leone owned and operated Leone's Flower Shop in Chandler for many years. She was a long-time member of the Chandler First Baptist Church. Her parents, husband, two brothers, and seven sisters preceded Leone in death. Survivors include, one daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Tom Pepper of Chandler, one son, Warren Hipsley Jr. of Chandler, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 4, 2013, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
