Leonard Lee Williams

Leonard Lee Williams, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born December 1, 1932, in Midlothian, Oklahoma, and departed this life September 2, 2018, in Chandler, at the age of 85 years. Leonard was the son of Claude and Willie Josephine (Long) Williams. He graduated from Chandler High School in 1951. Leonard married Anna Fern Collins on May 14, 1955, in Chandler. He served in the United States Army as a member of the 7th Calvary Tank Division. Leonard worked at Tinker Air Force Base as a Aircraft Mechanic for many years. He enjoyed raising cattle, coon hunting, and whittling. His parents, wife, one son Stephen; and three sister's preceded Leonard in death. Survivors include, two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Carol Williams of Chandler, and Andy Williams of Chandler; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Jo and Charles Miller of Chandler, Debra and Rick Hightower of Davenport, Oklahoma, and Vickie Williams of Chandler; eleven grandchildren, Chris, Chad, Justin, Josh, Jason, Michael, Lacrisha, Nicolas, Amber, Wyatt, and Jonathon, eighteen great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. The Williams family will be receiving friends and other family at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, 6:00PM to 8:00PM. A graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 6, 2018, at the Star Valley Cemetery in Chandler with Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
