Leonard Blackwell

Leonard Blackwell, a resident of Davenport, Oklahoma, was born in Pawnee, Oklahoma, on September 27, 1935, and departed this life in Cushing, Oklahoma on Wednesday, April 23, 2007 , at the age of 71 years. Leonard was the son of Clyde and Lita Victoria Carlile Blackwell. Leonard married Anita Clark on July 20, 1957 in Davenport, Oklahoma, and worked as mill foreman for a steel company and was a truck driver. Leonard served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, one sister, one daughter and one grandson. Survivors include his wife, Anita Blackwell of the home, three sons & daughter-in-law, Dennis & Stephanie Blackwell of Yukon, OK. Bobby Blackwell of Davenport, OK. Jimmy Blackwell of Davenport, OK. Three sisters, Naomi Wikel of Yale, OK,Mildred Page of Stillwater, OK, Lita Fay Griffith of Stillwater, OK Six Grandchildren and two great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
