Leona Pearl Patterson

Leona Pearl Patterson, long-time, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born on November 16, 1911, in Clarksville, Arkansas and departed this life on December 13, 2003, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 92 years. Pearl was the daughter of Joseph Marion and Mary Bertha Yates Acord. She married John Patterson in Sparks, Oklahoma on August 3, 1929. Pearl worked as a health care provider and was of the Baptist faith. Her parents, husband, one son, one daughter, four brothers, and four sisters preceded Pearl in death. Survivors include two sons, Don Patterson of Sparks, OK, and Bill Patterson of Claremore, OK; two daughters, Eulene Phillips of Shawnee, OK, and Carol Ward of Chandler, OK; 23 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 16, 2003, at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Chandler, Oklahoma, with Rev. Dale Carney officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Chandler.
