Leon Mankin

Leon Mankin, age 83, of Harrah, OK, was born on July 5, 1929, in Dale, Oklahoma. He was the son of Ephriam P. & Lula Mae (Nelson) Mankin, Leon left this life on Thursday, November 22, 2012, in Oklahoma City, OK. Leon graduated from Dale High School and attended O.B.U.. He married Wynema Jo Crabtree Bugg on September 25, 1956 in Pauls Valley, OK. Leon served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Leon worked as an installer and retired from AT&T. He served as commander of the McLoud American Legion, and was a member of the Shawnee Elks Lodge. Leon enjoyed golf and dominoes He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Jo Mankin of Harrah, OK, one son & daughter -in-law, Marshall Bugg & wife Cherie of Newalla, OK, sister, Lucille Russell of Midwest City, OK, two grandsons, Todd & Melissa Bugg and Michael and Amber Bugg and two special geat niecesTamara Brawdy & Kevina Foreman and many other relatives and friends Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November, 27, 2012 at McLoud Riverside Cemetery in McLoud, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
