Leo Thomas Roberts

Leo Thomas Roberts was born on October 12, 1941, in St. Louis, MO, and departed this life on Friday, February 25, 2011, in Midwest City, OK, at the age of 69. Leo, the son of Joe C. and Edith L. (Martin) Roberts, was a long-time resident of Chandler. He married Mary Darlene Cunningham on May 13, 1959, in Oklahoma City, OK. Leo worked as oilfield fishing tool specialist for many years. He was a member of the Citizen Pottawatomie Nation and First Assembly of God Church in Chandler. His parents and one brother, Joe C. Roberts Jr. preceded Leo in death. Survivors include, wife of 51 years, Mary of the home, three sons & daughter-in-law, Thomas L. Roberts of Oklahoma City, OK, David C. & Sheryl Roberts of Chandler, OK, Stephen Roberts of Chandler, OK, two daughters and son-in-law, Joy L. & Don Reynolds of Choctaw, OK, Annie Roberts of Chandler, OK, one sister & brother-in-law, Louise & Max Spencer of Sherman, TX, grandchildren, Elexa, Clark, Amayi, Tony, Falesha, Cheyenne, Kaleb, great-grandchildren, Brianna, Carli, Ethan, Trinity, Joey, Noah, Hunter, Sidney, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March, 2, 2011, at 10:00 A.M., at the First Assembly of God Church in Chandler with Rev. Kevin Martin officiating. Burial will follow at White Dove Cemetery in Sparks, OK. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
