Leo Cundiff

William Leo Cundiff, Tulsa, Oklahoma, resident, was born on September 7, 1917, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and departed this life on July 29, 2005, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 87 years. Leo was the son of Lester Bryant and Mattie Mary Riggs Cundiff. He married Gladys Irene Tipton in Davenport. He serviced in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. After the war Leo was the head teller at the National Bank of Tulsa; then worked as the Chief of Oklahoma Capitol Patrol in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He loved many hobbies including photography, electronics, astronomy and his technical writing with Douglas Aircraft and later Chrysler Corporation with NASA during the Mercury missions. He was the nephew of playwright Rollie Lynn Riggs which gave him much pride. His parents preceded Leo in death. Survivors include Wife,Gladys Irene Cundiff of the home.One son & daughter-in-law, Gary & Katherine Cundiff of Tulsa, OK. One daughter & son-in-law, Sally & Kirby Hoffman of Claremore, OK. One sister, Ona Bernice Cundiff of Muskogee, OK. Two Grandsons Other relatives and many friends.
