Lena Mae Osborne

Lena Mae Osborne peacefully left this life on August 2, 2008, surrounded by her loving family, to rejoin her beloved late husband, Col. Charles E. Osborne. Lena, was born on September 24, 1934, in Paden, Oklahoma to Fink and Sarah Case and was a 34-year resident of Carmichael, California. Her family and friends will miss her greatly, especially her genuine friendship, kindness and love she showed to all her knew her. Her parents; husband; and brothers, Carl and Raymond Case, preceded Lena in death. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Steve Schlosser of Colorado, Sara and Mark Werling of Sacramento; son, Mel Osborne and his companion Lori of Sacramento; grandchildren, Leslie, Kris, Kaitlyn, Hannah, Monique, and Charles; great-grandchildren, Austin, Kristopher, Nathan, Andruw, and Hadley; brothers and sisters, Frank Case, Bonnie Haley, Patsy Glenn and husband Pete, Carmalita McGehee and husband Sonny, Robert Case and wife Helen, all of Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Earl Osborne and David Osborne of Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Carol Fitzgerald of Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends at Parks Brothers Funeral Home on Monday, August 11, 2008, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Remembrances may be made in Lena''s name to: Mercy Hospice, 3400 Data Drive, 1st Floor, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 10:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague. Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Paden.
