Lela "Myrtle" Livecy

Lela Myrtle Garrison Livecy was born on October 7, 1929, close to Kendrick in rural Lincoln County. She was the daughter of Henry and Virgie Herd. She passed away on July 16, 2024, in Stroud.

She attended school through the 8th grade at Kendrick.

She married Eldon Garrison on October 3, 1944, in Chandler. They married four days before her 15th birthday. Eldon died on February 23, 1997. She married Donald Livecy on December 12, 2003. He died on November 7, 2006.

Myrtle is survived by one son; Clifford Dewey and wife Toni of Kellyville; daughter in law Georgie Garrison of Kendrick; Grandchildren: Michelle Correll of Bartlesville, Cindy Hines of Shawnee and Amber Garrison-Ahmed and her husband Syed of Kellyville. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren.

Myrtle is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, her husbands, son Guy Daniel Garrison, daughter Carolyn Garrison Jones, grandson David Garrison.
