Lela Irene Gallaway

Lela Irene Gallaway was born on July 4, 1908, in Meeker, OK, and departed this life on Friday, June 16, 2006, in Shawnee, OK, at the age of 97. Lela, the daughter of George and Famie Ramsdall Ellithorp, was a resident of Meeker. She married Ernest Marion Gallaway on May 18, 1925. He preceded her in death on January 8, 1973. Lela was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Her parents, one brother, and one sister also preceded Lela in death. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law Dolores and Hershell King of Meeker, Rosemary and Louis Brown of Meeker, 7 grandchildren, 8 Great-grandchildren and 8 Great-great-grandchildren
