Lavinia “Mikie” Ann (Frazier) Muckin was born on October 1, 1934, in Prague, and departed this life on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, in Midwest City, Oklahoma, at the age of 83. Mikie, the daughter of Allen B. and Vida M. (Bennett) Frazier, was a resident of Midwest City. She began school at the age of 3 and graduated from High School at the age of 16. She then obtained her associates degree from Blackwood Business College. Mikie married Alexander J. Muckin on February 18, 1955. She enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, quilting and making ceramics. Mikie was a cheerful and industrious woman and enjoyed life to its fullest. Mikie was preceded in death by her father; mother; step father, Paul Wallace; son, Stephen Muckin and brother, Joe Frazier Sr. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Alexander J. Muckin, of the home; son, Paul and his wife, Susie Muckin of Nicoma Park; granddaughter, Lindsey and husband Quay Prough of Choctaw; great grandchildren, Austin Hambrook, Tyler Russell, Aubrey Prough and Jeremiah Prough of Choctaw; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10:00 am, at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker.
