Laverne "Toni" Virginia Senkowski

LaVerne Virginia 'Toni' Senkowski, 86, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Harrah, was born December 12, 1926, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was the daughter of Clint & Paralee (Roberts) Galloway. She left this life on Monday, September 16, 2013, in Oklahoma City, OK. LaVerne graduated in 1945 from Central High School, Oklahoma City. She graduated from St. Anthony School of Nursing in 1948, as a registered nurse. She married A. D. 'Danny' Senkowski on April 23, 1949, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was an active member of the Class of 45 monthly meetings, served red earth dolcent and a member of the Indian Art Club. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Dave & Connie Senkowski, Orange Park, FL; daughter, Danna Senkowski, Oklahoma City, OK; 2 grandsons, Danny Senkowski, Orange Park, FL and Scott Senkowski & Dezraye Choi, San Francisco, CA and many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 19, 2013, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK, with Father Prakash Madineni officiating. Interment will follow at St. Teresa Catholic Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
