LaVerne Lambert, Choctaw, OK, age 80, was born on September 19, 1930, in Walls, OK. She was the daughter of Charlie & Tina Harris. She departed this life on Sunday, November 21, 2010, in Harrah, OK. LaVerne married Stan Lambert on August 15, 1949, in Van Buren, AR and moved to Choctaw, OK in 1959, where she resided her remaining years. She retired from the Choctaw Public School District. LaVerne was preceded in death by parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include her husband of 60 plus years, Stan Lambert, Choctaw, OK; 3 sons & daughter-in-law, Charles & Leslie Lambert, Tucker, GA, Terry Lambert, Georgia, Darryll Lambert, Washington, D.C.; nieces, Debra & Bruce Bare, Kingfisher, OK, Kim Higdon, El Reno, OK, Michelle Harris, Oklahoma City, OK; nephews, Walter Hobbs, Edmond, OK, Frankie Harris, El Reno, OK; brother & sister-in-law, George & Keshia Harris, Midwest City, OK; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson and many other relatives and friends.
