LaDonna Kay Bales, age 52, of Choctaw, OK, was born on June 15, 1963, in San Diego, California. She was the daughter of Donald L. & Jackie Branson. She left this life on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 in Poteau, OK. LaDonna was a waitress. She loved horses, dogs, pigs and all animals. She enjoyed singing and sailing. LaDonna loved her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny. Survivors include her 3 sons & daughters-in-law, Darron & Sarah Rich, Pauls Valley, OK, Wesley & Michelle Bales, Cement, OK, Derick Bales, Illinois; husband, Walt Slavens, Poteau, OK; parents, Donald & Jackie Branson, Newalla, OK; 3 brothers, Mike & Tracy Branson, Pennsylvania, Roger & Dawn Branson, Tennessee, Troy & Amberly Zundell, Oklahoma City, OK; 2 sisters, Jodi & Sol Trujillo, Oklahoma City, OK,Tracey & Doug Waggaman, Harrah, OK; 3 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
