L. Darlene Tucker

Linda Darlene Tucker, of McLoud, OK, age 60, was born on June 21, 1950, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was the daughter of Fred & Nettie (Keller) Strickland. She went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, in Midwest City, OK. Darlene as she liked to be called, married Michael Tucker on April 9, 1971, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was a member of Newalla Church of Christ and was a homemaker. Darlene had a variety of hobbies, including sewing, arts and crafts, ceramics and collecting movies. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Carrie Michelle Tucker, who went to be with the Lord on October 11, 1996, one brother and three sisters. She is survived by her husband,Michael Wayne Tucker, McLoud, OK; son & daughter-in-law, Martin Wayne & Patricia Ann Tucker, San Antonio, TX; 1 sister & brother-in-law,Nettie & Guy Winters, Ward, AR; mother-in-law, Billie Joe Neal as well as a host of friends and family. Services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, October 18, 2010, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
