Kristimari Ruth Sweeten

Kristimari Ruth Sweeten was born on July 20, 1988, in Modesto, CA, and departed this life on Thursday, August 18, 2005, at her home in Shawnee, OK, at the age of 17. Kristimari, the daughter of Alan Vay Sweeten and Wendy Ann Wagner Bouchillon, was a resident of Shawnee. Kristi loved playing basketball and baseball, her internet friends, talking on the phone and being around her family and friends. She attended the Pentecostal church in Castle. Kristi fought the battle of life with lots of courage and faith ? never giving up. She proved that through Christ, anything is possible. Many grandparents; her step-father, Carl Bouchillon; and one cousin, Adam Warner, preceded Kristi in death. Survivors include her mother, Wendy Bouchillon of the home; father and step-mother,Alan Vay and Barbara Sweeten of Noble; brothers, Gregory Sweeten of Texarkana, TX, Jeremy Bouchillon of Muldrow; Brandan Benham of Noble, Michael Benham of Noble; sisters, Tami Barksdale and her husband Sean of Shawnee, Synthia Esquivel of Shawnee; grandparents, Douglas and Linda Wagner of Paden, Leland and Pat Sweeten of Texarkana, TX, Janice Kellogg of Paden; great-grandmother, Ruth Hector of Modesto, CA; niece, Audrey Barksdale of Shawnee; special friendsBrent Galloway of Shawnee, Wendy Palamo of Laredo, TX, Rosie Annanders of Shawnee; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kristi?s family would like to thank Heartland Home Health and Hospice; Danny Cavett for always being there for us at any time of need; the entire nursing staff who showed lots of love and compassion; the doctors for all their compassion and hard work to find a cure; Child Life for always bringing things to Kristi as well as their love and compassion; and the housekeepers for always cleaning our messes.
