Kenneth Wayne Pickard

Kenneth Wayne Pickard, age 69, of Shawnee, OK, was born on July 2, 1943, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was the son of Kenneth Avery & Ruth Etta (Ricky) Pickard. Kenneth went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 27, 2012, in Meeker, OK. Kenneth proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was a concrete finisher. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, woodworking and making tables and shelves. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Phillip Avery Pickard. Survivors include his son, Luther Wayne Pickard, Oklahoma City, OK; daughter, Cindy Pickard, Shawnee, OK; brother, Charles David Pickard, Portland, OR; sister, Linda Dowdy, Eufaula, OK; 4 grandchildren, Heather Renee Pearl Pickard, Luther Wayne Pickard, Jr., James Jefferson Pickard, Niki Nicole Pickard; 3 great-grandchildren, Elizsa Pearl Vann, Issac Don Van, Layton Wayne Pickard and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
