Kenneth S. Mannon, age 89, of Choctaw, OK was born on November 22, 1924, in Prague, OK. He was the son of Columbus J. 'Dick' & Bessie V. (Eastep) Mannon. He left this life on Saturday, May 31, 2014, in Choctaw, OK. Kenneth served in the U. S. Marines during WW II. He married Flora Bissell on April 15, 1952, in Wichita, Kansas. His main vocation was a minister of Jehovah's Witnesses. Kenneth enjoyed farming and ranching and loved fishing and tending to his garden. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, son-in-law, two brothers, Bart & Charles, two sisters, Sue & Gracie and one grandson, Jeremy Lay. Survivors include his wife, Flora Mannon, Choctaw, OK; daughter & son-in-law, Virginia & Thomas Palmer, Chandler, OK; brother, Archie J. Mannon, Florida; granddaughter & husband,Rebecca & Noah Lancaster, Chandler, OK; 2 great-grandchildren, Tristan & Bryce Lancaster and many other family and friends too numerous to list. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, June 2, 2014, at Dale Cemetery, Dale OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
