Kenneth Ray Pence

Kenneth Ray Pence was born on August 22, 1937, in Allen, OK, and departed this life on Thursday, May 18, 2006, in Cushing, OK, at the age of 68. Kenneth, the son of Othar L. and Clara Marshall Pence, was a long-time resident of Chandler. He served his country with the United States Navy during the Vietnam war. He married Edna DeAnn Bean on July 25, 1958 in Guthrie. She preceded him in death on May 12, 2004. Kenneth taught in the science department of the Chandler Public Schools for many years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Chandler and the American Legion. His parents also preceded Kenneth in death. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law LaRetah Kay and Kevin Najera of Tulsa. Grandson Douglas Anthony 'Tony' Lee of Oklahoma City. Brother and sister-in-law Leslie Hansford and Joy Pence of Auburn, WA. Other relatives and many friends.
