Kenneth Ray Herdman, Sr.

Kenneth Ray 'Curly' Herdman, Sr., age 88, of Oklahoma City, OK, was born on May 22, 1927, in Kremlin, OK. He was the son of Charles Albert & Lona (Heck) Herdman. He left this life on Sunday, May 15, 2016, in Oklahoma City, OK. Ken graduated from Enid High School, Enid, OK. He proudly served in the U. S. Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He worked at SWBT/AT&T as a service technician. Ken enjoyed working on cars and lawnmowers. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and step-grandson, Travis Arnett. Survivors include 2 sons & daughter-in-law, Kenneth R. Herdman, Jr., Oklahoma City, OK, Darren D. & Lisa Herdman, Harrah, OK; 2 step-daughters, Cheryl & Roger Self, Nicoma Park, OK, Cindy Killian, Harrah, OK; 3 grandchildren:, Matthew Herdman, Brent Herdman & Lauren Herdman; 3 step-grandchildren, Darrell Arnett, Jennifer Firestone & Priscilla Raney; 8 step-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 19, 2016, at Choctaw Road Baptist Church, Choctaw, OK. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
