Kenneth Virgil Raines Sr

Kenneth Virgil Raines Sr, of Prague, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024 in Prague, Oklahoma at the age of 81. Kenneth was born on March 24, 1943 in Prague, Oklahoma. He was the son of Inita A (McCaslin) Raines. Kenneth grew up in Marysville, California, where he met Sarah Cannon and the two were married on December 2, 1962 in Carson City, Nevada. Together, the couple raised two children, Rebecca and Kenneth. 

Kenneth proudly served his country with the United States Navy. Following his naval service, Kenneth went to work as a mechanic and as a truck driver. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Kenneth was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be missed by many.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sarah (Cannon) Raines; his grandson, Herschel Raines; his daughter-in-law, Stacy Raines; and his brother, Wendell Dean Raines.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Inita (McCaslin) Raines; his daughter, Rebecca Raines; his son, Ken (Hoss) Raines Jr; three grandchildren, Stefanie Phillips and her husband, Jessie, Kenneth Raines III and his wife, Bridget and Toby Raines; four great-grandchildren, Kaedon Phillips, Taegan Phillips, Haisley Phillips and Kennedy Raines; two sisters, Mary Darlene (Raines) Cox and Anita June (Raines) Ray and a host of family and friends.
