Kenneth Lee Ross

Kenneth Lee Ross was born on August 12, 1927, in Pottawatomie County, and departed this life, one day short of his 89th birthday, on Thursday, August 11, 2016, in Paden, Oklahoma, at the age of 88. Kenneth, the son of Sherman Lee and Oma Viola (Loveland) Ross, was a resident of Paden. He married Wanda Stewart on November 29, 1947 in Johnson, OK. Kenneth was a member of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed quail hunting, gambling, fishing and spending time with family, particularly his grandchildren. His parents, brother, Bobby Ross, Sister and brother-in-law Betty and Howard Dawkins and grandson James Blain Carrel preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife Wanda Ross of the home; son and daughter-in-lawJackie and Yolanda Ross of Pottawatomie County; daughters and sons-in-law GaDawn and Don Houston of Prague, Carolyn and Jim Grayson of Paden, Kenda Ross of Paden, and Anita and Ken Miller of Shawnee; sister and brother-in-law Patsy and Franklin Sedlacek of Prague; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and many other family and friends. Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 10:00 AM, at Garden Grove Cemetery in Prague with Dustin Miller and Steve Stone officiating.
