Kenneth Howard Mushrush was born in Ottawa, Kansas on March 14, 1932 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the age of 83 years. Kenneth was the son of Kenneth Byers and Dorothy Francis (Howard) Mushrush. He was a Stroud resident since 1954. He was in the United States Army where he served in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Stroud and he owned and operated Mushrush Vending and Mini Storage in Stroud. Kenneth married Betty Jo Jacob in Perkins, Oklahoma on August 2, 1953. Betty preceded in death on January 22, 2009. He was also preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include, two daughters and son in laws, Susan & Craig Koontz of Houston, TX, Marilyn & Kim Wheeler of Stroud, six grandchildren, Vic Wheeler and wife Helen of McAlester, Morgan Bilyeu and husband, Chris of Owasso, Taylor Wheeler and wife Lauren of Edmond, Logan Koontz & fiance Rita of Ft. Worth, TX, Caroline Koontz and Grant Koontz of Houston, TX, great grandchildren, Ames and Channing Wheeler of McAlester, Evan and Liv Bilyeu of Owasso, Owen wheeler of Edmond, companion, Roycenne Vignati of Stroud. Funeral service will be held at the First Christian Church in Stroud on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Paul Ragle officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Services in Stroud.
