Kenneth Harold Shivers

Kenneth Harold Shivers was born in Keokuk Falls, Oklahoma on March 12, 1935 and departed this life in Paden on May 23, 2008. He was 73 years of age. Harold was the son of Arthur and Cora Cordilla Perry Shivers. He had been a resident of the Paden area all of his life. He was married to Carolyn Sue Ellis at Little, Oklahoma on June 16, 1962 by Rev. Carl Shivers in the Little Assembly of God Church. He remained a member of the Praise Center Assembly of God Church throughout his life. Harold possessed a strong love of family, the outdoors and was a life long carpenter. He was preceded in death by his wife on August 4, 2007; his parents, two brothers and a grandson. Survivors include daughters and sons in law, Sherry & Lance Bradley, Prague, Vickie Lakins, Paden, Lora & Kirk Fipps, Paden; brother and sister in law, Carl and Myrtle Shivers, Stratford; grandchildren, Kyler Bradley, Garrett Bradley, Amber Duke, Caleb Lakins, Leslie Fipps, Holly Fipps. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 2:00 PM, at the Praise Center Assembly of God Church in Little with Dr. Jack L. Medlock officiating. Interment will follow at the Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
