Kenneth D. Harris, Sr.

Kenneth D. Harris, Sr., Newalla, OK, age 72, was born on January 21, 1936, in Oklahoma City, OK. He was the son of Roy C. & Mable Parvin Harris. He left this life on Sunday, March 23, 2008, in Midwest City, OK. Kenneth married Shirley Hicks on August 6, 1955 in Oklahoma City, OK. He lived in the area since 1972. He worked as an electrician most of his life and worked for Western Electric for many years. Kenneth was a Mason and a member of the Local I.B.E.W. He made marbles and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Roy Harris. Survivors include his wife, Shirley of the home; son, Kenneth D. Harris, Jr., Muskogee, OK; 2 grandchildren, Joshua Harris, Muskogee, OK, David Roy Harris, Muskogee, OK and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008, at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Newalla, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
