Katie Mae Mclaughlin

Katie Mae McLaughlin was born on August 4, 1939, in Blair, West Virginia, and departed this life on Tuesday, October 16, 2007, in Moore, Oklahoma, at the age of 68. Katie, the daughter of Rexford Olie and Bessie Edna Johnson Burgess, was a resident of Oklahoma City. She was a former long-time resident of Prague. She proudly served her country in the United States Air Force. Katie married Robert Lynn McLaughlin on July 2, 1962 in San Antonio, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 29, 1989. Katie was a homemaker and a member of the Prague United Methodist Church. Her father and her brother, Bob, preceded Katie in death. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert Lynn and Ginger McLaughlin of Prague; daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanette and Thomas Lord of Oklahoma City, Barbara Sue and Justin Stevens of Stigler; mother, Bessie Edna Burgess of West Virginia; brothers, Rexford Burgess of West Virginia, David Burgess of West Virginia, Dexter Burgess of West Virginia; sisters, Ceceilia Curry of West Virginia, Nell Dumont of West Virginia, Angela Allen of Texas; grandchildren, Seth and Kristyn McLaughlin, Aubrey Isenhower and her husband Jeff, Terry, Austin, Sydney, and Georgia Stevens, Hannah and Katie Lord; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Joshua Isenhower.
