Karen Beth Story, age 70, of Harrah, OK, was born November 23, 1946, in Minerva, Ohio. She was the daughter of Marion Arthur & Beatrice Claudia (Stine) Six. She left this life on Monday, July 17, 2017, in Midwest City, OK. Karen was born in Ohio and moved to Nicoma Park, Oklahoma in the mid 1950's, graduating from Choctaw High School in 1964. She worked for Gulf Oil as a key punch operator (data entry) for over ten years. Later she worked at Dana Corporation, Three Feathers & Associates and Midwest Trophy until she retired. Karen's hobbies included ceramics, quilting, sewing, cooking and she loved her family, especially spending time with her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gary Duane Six. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law,Jimmie & Nicole Story, Choctaw, OK; 2 grandchildren, Austin Story, Midwest City, OK, Madison Story, Choctaw, OK; ex-husband, Jimmie D. 'Elk' Story; sister-in-law, Alice Story, Bethany, OK, and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, July 21, 2017, at Asa Smith Funeral Service, Harrah, OK. Services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 22, 2017, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK. Services are under the direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
