Junior Lee Shell, 93, passed away on July 7, 2019 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Lee was born on March 8, 1926 in Paden, Oklahoma to Lee Franklin and Viola Francis Shell. Lee attended Paden schools and later attended Seminary at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Lee served our country in the United States Navy where he was stationed on the aircraft carrier USS Fanshaw Bay during WWII. After serving in the military, Lee and his wife evangelized for the Lord. He later worked as a mechanic for Goodyear Tires. In Church and in his free time, Lee loved to sing and play music with both the guitar and steel guitar. Lee also enjoyed hunting. Lee is survived by two daughters, Loretta Lee Shell and Vaughna Lea Shell and a son, Preston Lee Shell. He is also survived by granddaughters, Wendy Sue McCall and her husband Grant, Vanessa Lee Penn and her husband Michael, Christina Shell and Sabrina Shell; and a Grandson, Robert W. Baker III. Lee is also survived by several Great grandchildren, Lisa (McCall) McKenzie and her husband Caleb, Brandon McCall, Drake Mcall, Colyn McCall, Emma McCall, Christopher Lee Robinson, Dejour Martin, Jason Martin, Daniel Roberts, Brandon Gillam, Kayleah Allen, Abigayle Allen, Celine Michelle Lee Penn, Alivia Michelle Lee Penn, Krista Lee Campbell and Travis Darnell Campbell, Jr. Lee also leaves a legacy of great-great grandchildren as well: Josh McKenzie, Kaylee McKenzie, Zach McKenzie, Isaac McCall, Aubree McCall, Jayden Lee Campbell, Layla Martin, Adrein Jett, Zayne Roberts, Ariannah Martin, Jax Roberts, Cherokee Mullinix and Ameya Amor Lee Campbell. Lee was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Roberta Lee Shell; sons, Lee Franklin Shell III, and David Lee Shell; two granddaughters, Victoria McCall and April Denise Shell; and the mother of his children, Margie Lee Eversole-Shell. Lee will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
