Juna Mae Marker

March 14, 1927 — November 4, 2007

Juna Mae Skaggs Marker was born in Milfay, Oklahoma on March 14, 1927, and went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 4, 2007 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years. Juna was the daughter of Otis and Georgia Fisher Skaggs. Juna was a long time resident of Milfay, Oklahoma. She attended school in Milfay, Gypsy, and Macawber, Oklahoma, and San Francisco, CA. She married James Marker in Stroud, Oklahoma on September 13, 1945. Juna retired from the Milfay Schools where she was a secretary. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years on September 21, 2004. Her parents, and one brother, James Skaggs, also preceded her in death. Survivors include, Two sons & daughters-in-law, Jimmy & Virginia Marker of Depew, Johnny & Jeni Marker of Kellyville, One daughter, LaDonna Mayberry & friend Richard Fox of Bristow, One sister, Anna Riggs of Milfay, 8 Grandchildren & 16 Great Grandchildren, Numerous Nieces and Nephews, Others relatives and many friends who loved her. Funeral service will be held at the Milfay First Baptist Church on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Harold Gaches officiating. Burial will follow at the Stroud Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
