Julia Mae Manek, age 89, of Harrah, OK, was born on July 9, 1927, in Harrah, OK. She was the daughter of Mike & Hattie Theresa (Zayonce) Skropka. She passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017, in Midwest City, OK. Julia married Mike Manek on October 16, 1948, in Oklahoma City, OK. Julia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Mike, 3 brothers, Felix, Henry & Leo Skropka, 2 sisters, Rosie & Mary. She is survived by 2 daughters, Theresa Hastings and husband, Frederick, Oklahoma City, OK, Shirley Rowland and husband, Ron, Midwest City, OK; sister, Martha Krueger, Oklahoma City, OK; 1 granddaughter, Michelle Stites, and husband, Matthew, Harrah, OK; 1 great-grandson, Nathaniel Stites, Harrah, OK and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 10, 2017, at St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Harrah, OK, with Father Raphael Moore and Subdeacon, Robby Wall officiating. Services are under the direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service, Harrah, OK.
