Julia Denise Ellis

Julia Denise Ellis was born on September 7, 1945, in Concho, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 70. She was a Sac and Fox Tribal member. Julia, the daughter of Levi and Mary Elizabeth (Spooner) Ellis, was a resident of Prague. She worked as a seamstress for Napolean Nash for many years. Julia enjoyed playing softball, basketball and bowling. She was a member of the Sac and Fox Nation Women's Auxiliary and also enjoyed sewing, Julia made her own clothes. Julia's parents and two brothers, Robert Everett Ellis and Michael Paris Ellis preceded her in death. Survivors include: sister, Marlene Ellis of Prague; nephews, Levi Ellis of Seminole and Lawrence Ellis of Lawton; other family and friends. A wake service will be held on Friday evening, March 18, 2016 with funeral services held on Saturday, March 19, 2015 at 9:00 AM, at McKosato Cemetery in Prague with Jacob Bailey officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
