Judy Dyer was born on January 11, 1953 to Ora Lee Bailey and Edna Mae Perry in Chandler, Oklahoma. She departed this earthly life to live with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 10, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents. Judy was raised in Kendrick, Oklahoma where she attended Kendrick schools until the 8th grade and then transferred to Davenport High School where she met and married her husband James on October 12, 1968. She had 2 sons that she stayed home with until she became employed at National Garment Factory and OJ’s and Petals. She went on to work at what would eventually be her career at Dr. Nokes office in Chandler. She loved caring for people. Through this live a dream was born. Judy continued on with her education and received her LPN license in 1999. She continued to work as a referral nurse for Mercy Central Referrals until 2009. Judy loved her horses, cats, her dog, Sophie, making floral arrangement, painting Donna Dewberry artwork, flower gardening, spending time at her Koi Pond, hiking in Colorado and she loved spending time with her family. Judy's greatest love was for Jesus and her desire was for others to know Him personally as their Savior. Judy was an active member of the First Assembly of God in Chandler, Oklahoma, where she served for many years as a Youth Leader, Missionette Leader, and as a Sunday School Teacher, where she felt that was a part of her calling. The past year her faith has been unwavering and strong. She would say,'God Is So Good' ! She has been a true example of Psalms 16:8 which reads, 'I have set the Lord continuously before me, because He is my right hand and I will not be shaken'. Survivors include, husband, James “Spud” Dyer of Chandler, OK, two sons & daughters-in-laws, Jeff & Amy Dyer of Chandler, OK, Brad & Shannon Dyer of Adair, OK, five grandchildren, Ryan, Michael, Dylan, Alysson and Jordan, two brothers & sisters-in-laws, Gale & Arlette Bailey of Okla. City, OK, Richard & LouAnn Bailey of Davenport OK, nieces and nephews, Sharon , Scott, Lauri, Erin, Richie, Katen, close cousins, Terri Ladd and Sam Palmore, numerous other wonderful family, friends and coworkers. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 14, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the First Assembly of God Church in Chandler Oklahoma with burial in Bethel-Greenwood Cemetery near Chandler, with Rev. Doyle Seely officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
