Joyce E. Smith

Joyce Emily Smith was born on December 22, 1934, in Tulsa, OK and departed this life on Saturday, October 1, 2011, in Tulsa at the age of 76. Joyce, the daughter of Roy Elvest and Sophia Emily (McIntyre) Keel and was a resident of Meeker. She was married to Jack Smith on May 8, 1952 in Meeker. She was a member of the Family of Faith Church. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister. Survivors include: Her husband:Jack Smith, of the home; 3 sons and daughters in law, Richard and Carrie Smith, Meeker, Randy and Lisa Smith, Meeker, Fred and Tammy Smith, Meeker; 2 daughters and 1 son in law, Sharon Gardner, Midwest City, Darla and Tracy Borden, Vici, OK; One sister,Georgia Crum, Meeker; One sister in law, Joan Keel, Meeker; 13 Grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. Viewing will be at the Parks Brothers Meeker Chapel from 9:00 AM Monday until Noon Wednesday. Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 PM at the Family of Faith Church located South of Meeker on Highway 18. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery, Meeker.
