Josie Marie Nichols passed away on September 14, 2020 in Prague, Oklahoma at the age of 86. Josie was born on June 1, 1934 in Russellville, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Harry and Lucille (Stone) Troxell. Josie was a graduate of Chickasha High School. Josie was also a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was blessed with five children. Josie was passionate about antiques and furniture. She owned three different antique shops and used furniture stores throughout her life. She loved to spend time at garage sales and to see what treasures she could find. Josie also loved to read and to sing. She especially loved to sing for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Josie was a long time, dedicated member of the Prague First Assembly of God Church. Josie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James B. Nichols Jr; one son, JR Miears; and sisters, Ann Kent and Minnie Svatek. Josie is survived by three daughters, Pamela Jo Arrasmith and her husband Frank of Prague, Cindy Baldwin and her husband Mickey of Houston and Lisa Yeager and her husband Greg of Shawnee; one son, Michael Miears and his wife Amy of Tuttle and one daughter-in-law, Mandy Miears of Chickasha; brothers, Irving McLelland, Buster McLelland, Sammy Mussleman and David Mussleman and sisters, Mary Betone and Elizabeth Corrick McMillan; She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. A Graveside Service is scheduled for Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 2:00 PM. The service will be held at the Prague Cemetery, with Rev. Kevin Wehrli officiating. The family will accept guest from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Prague. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Prague. An online guestbook is available at www.parksbrothers.net.
